Our meticulously maintained courts and USPTA Certified Professionals are here to make Chartwell your new favorite gathering place.

Chartwell has 7 Har-Tru Courts, meticulously maintained in tournament condition, available for your next doubles or singles match. Our winter tennis air structure allows for year-round tennis, and 3 lighted courts provides our members with the ability to play tennis after work and in the evenings. or the helpful expertise of our USPTA Certified Professionals.

We offer many exciting tennis programs, available for players of all ages and skill levels. For the younger children, we offer junior tennis camps in the summer months, and clinics after school and on the weekends. For the adults, we offer league play, social and competitive outings, along with early bird workouts and couples events.

Junior Tennis Clinics

Pee Wee Tennis: (4-6 year olds) We will build the fundamentals of a great little player. Players will learn hand-eye coordination, how to send, receive and track the ball and will learn basic strokes and tennis terminology. This class utilizes USTA Quick Start 10 & under format. The balls we use will be a combination of sponge nalls, red balls, & orange balls. The ratio of child to pro will be 6:1, if we have more than 6 kids then another pro will be on the court assisting with the clinic.

Rising Stars: (7-12 year olds) is designed to build upon the red ball foundation. Players will begin to form an all court game focusing on technique, balance, agility and tactical awareness. Players will learn the fundamentals of match play.

Junior Aces:(12+) is designed for Pre-tournament, aspiring JV-Varsity High School players to improve the games of active juniors. This is not for beginners or players just learning the game. Tennis fundamentals, competitive and coordination drills, stroke production, net game, serve placement and consistency will be taught. 
Tuesday's & Thursday's 4:00-5:30pm  &  Saturday's 2:00-3:30pm
Cost: $35/class (member)     $45/class (non member)

The Elite Program: 
is for current tournament players. Players must have a current USTA ranking or try out for this program. There will be high intensity drills covering footwork patterns and shot selection as well as point simulation drills. Players stroke development will be a major focus for all juniors with an emphasis on balance, preparation, contact point & follow through. Sportsmanship, hard work and maintaining a positive attitude are strongly reinforced on and off the court. Match play & fitness will also be integral parts of this program with work on mental & physical toughness.
