One of the many successes of Chartwell is its catering to the families of the community. As it states in the Club's Mission and Vision Statements, the club is "a family oriented club." Family and children events are scheduled year round and include age specific activities as well as traditional events. Of course, the Club's sports programs offer great opportunities to learn swimming, tennis and golf, as well as compete.
The Club's First Friday Kids Club was created to entertain preschoolers and give parents and grand parents a monthly opportunity to enjoy the club with their little ones. Entertainment and activities are geared to the five and under crowd the first Friday of each month.
For the next age group, roughly five to eight year olds, the Club inaugurated the 3rd Thursday "Big Kids Club." Again, events and activities are specially designed for these active and inquisitive kids.
Chartwell Kids' Camp is held twice each summer and offers kids five and up a partial or whole week of sports activities, arts and crafts, custom lunch and an afternoon at the pool.
Other Activities and Events for children and their families include traditional, popular holiday parties, kid only parties, and regular Parental Freedom nights that provide supervision for kids while their parents enjoy the Club. Many of these activities are planned by kids themselves as they work with the Club's Youth Director and a mini committee to plan fun and memorable events.
All Memberships provide equal privileges to the Member's spouse and dependent children under the age of twenty-one; subject to applicable guest fees, unmarried children aged 21 through 25 shall have the use of those Club facilities to which their parent(s) are entitled. Our Memberships are designed to meet and accommodate the recreational, social and business needs of our Members.
